Origin
Origin of O is a spiritual journey to the roots of the Shintoist religion in Japan. The spirit, the divine, forms the basis of Japanese culture.
The core, the Origin
In Shintoism, the spiritual and mythical heart of Japan, water holds a special place. Not only does it serve as a purifier, but its life-giving nature is also recognised in offerings to the kami, the spiritual gods. The significance of visiting shrines is visible, as before entering, you have to wash your hands and mouth in a wash bowl.
In Kojiki , the oldest chronicle about the origins of the imperial house and the world of the gods, it is said that the first gods grew out of water, like blades of grass, and that the first land emerged from the primordial sea. The sun goddess and her siblings were born from drops of water that fell from the eyes, nose and mouth of their father, Izanagi. And the imperial gods of Japan were formed from the water that sprayed from the mouth of the sun goddess over the spring in the middle of the sky.
In all their personalities, the Kami nymphs represent sacred Shinto spirituality, natural energy or life force and diversity of personalities, both on land and in the sea. Maternal, feminine, shell and pearl express their origins, feminine energy and divine consciousness.
Origin, the flow of life spreading through the universe.
