About the artwork

This ostrich has an alert, almost curious look in its large, dark eyes. His long eyelashes-known as the most beautiful in the animal kingdom-protect him from the dust and sand of the African savannah. His beak is still somewhat covered in soil, perhaps from a recent search for food or a curious moment in which he explored the ground for something edible.

Ostriches are omnivores and often peck at plants, insects and sometimes even small stones that help them digest. This bird seems content, but also vigilant-always alert to danger. With a slight breeze blowing through his feathers and the open blue sky as a backdrop, he exudes a certain calm. Yet, if he has to, he can accelerate in a few seconds and run towards the horizon with huge strides.

Perhaps he is a leader of his group, or just a young adult just beginning to explore the world. One thing is certain: with his sharp gaze and proud attitude, he is a king of the savannah, always ready for whatever nature brings him.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
