"Abstract landscape from the air"
What at first glance appears to be an abstract painting is in fact an aerial photograph of a disused gravel pit. A bird's eye view reveals a fascinating composition of colours, shapes and lines marked by sediments, watercourses, algae growth and industrial traces. The pink and green areas are reminiscent of biological structures, while the straight dividing lines and paths add a touch of geometry to the organic scenery. This picture exemplifies the beauty of the hidden - a view of the earth that looks like modern art but shows real traces of human and natural processes.
