About "Strong women for the win"

About the artwork

In this 18th-century-looking scene, we see a red-headed woman in a tangerine-coloured silk dress enthusiastically arm wrestling with a man in a mustard-yellow coat. Her head is thrown back with laughter - she is visibly enjoying her victory. The man looks focused, tense, but not bitter. Behind them, soft candlelight illuminates the wooden tables and crystal chandeliers. The warm glow gives the work an almost tangible vibrancy. A small detail you might not see until later: their hands do not touch hard, but with a certain tenderness - strength and connection in one moment.

This work was inspired by my fascination with how women have been depicted over the centuries: often beautiful, rarely strong. I wanted to create that moment that would never have been captured in the 18th century - a woman winning, smiling, and not holding herself back.

The mood is warm, humorous and liberating. It is an ode to female strength, to pleasure and equality.
In an interior, this work brings character, a smile and a touch of rebellion - a subtle conversation between history and modern self-awareness.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
