Straw flower in bud just after a bright rainstorm where the straw flowers close completely by themselves to protect the seeds from the rain and blowing out too early or hitchhiking with insects.
Deep yellow in colour with some water droplets still visible.
Note that this is a macro photo and at the front of the flower is in focus, the focus fades further back. The drop halfway through is just out of focus. This does give the feeling of being very close to look at the flower.
And if you look close, you might just see the ant that hid sight in the flower before the downpour.
