About the artwork

As a photographer, I see in this weathered wall of an old beach cabin on Texel not just decay, but a canvas that tells stories through its layers. Each layer of paint seems to represent a different summer, with countless visitors finding solace by the sea - their laughter echoing against these wooden guards of memories. The bright yellow stripe running vertically down the middle perhaps symbolises those fleeting moments of joy and sunshine, now immortalised in the structure of this place.

This abstract work invites the viewer to look beyond peeling paint and see the beauty in impermanence. It is a work of art created by time itself, where every scratch and colour is a verse in the poem of passing seasons. The rough texture and visible signs of weathering add a depth that can only be achieved over the years.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
