"Still life of an orange lantern on old pink reflective background" is a picture of a lantern from the lantern plant dried by the sun. This has made the lantern's grain structure clearly visible. The orange skin of the lantern is still intact and is still nicely wrapped around the lantern. The old pink background (with some greyish orange in it) makes for a peaceful scene. If you zoom in on the photo, you can clearly see that I chose a moderate depth-of-field when taking it. This creates a sense of depth in the work. This has made the background blurred and you can only see the planes of light vaguely distinct.
This work could hang beautifully on canvas or artframe as decoration in the bedroom, study, kitchen or of course just above the sofa!
