The vase was designed in 2000 by Theo Potmeer (1942 - 2008) and executed by Cor Unum in Den Bosch.
The vase officially has 'Schaas', but is also called 'the Kies', for obvious reasons ?
Theo Potmeer graduated from the Academy of Industrial and Graphic Arts in Eindhoven in 1971. He worked for Cor Unum from 1971 until 2002. This is the logo of Cor Unum:
