On our tour of India, we wanted to visit this beautiful "step well". The name of this step well is as beautiful as the step well itself; Panna Meena Ka Kund. The symmetrical step well in Amer was built in the 16th century and used to store water. You can reach the water from three sides via the steps. It is an architectural feat and very photogenic. I was very happy to see the dogs relaxing on the steps. It breaks the symmetrical pattern in a nice way and adds something extra's to the photo. I get happy looking at the photo and it brings back fond memories of our special trip through Rajasthan in India.
