Did a shoot with steel wool during Christmas Eve in Rotterdam, with a long shutter speed you can get dr sparks from burning steel wool this way. If you pay attention you can also see from the building behind me that it was Christmas Eve by the text, cozy Christmas Eve. How photographing with steel wool works is simple, I use a whisk that I attach to a string so that I can swing it around, in the whisk I then put very fine steel wool and light it and I swing the whisk in a nice perfect round. at that point I turn on a shutter speed of about 5 seconds on my camera so that light is left in me lens for 5 seconds and therefore you get this effect. This was only my 3rd time shooting with steel wool so was very happy that it turned out so well and that I was able to get such a nice result. I used the canon 80d with canon 18-55mm for this shoot for photography enthusiasts.
