Leeuwarden is an ancient city in the north of the Netherlands and also the capital of the province of Friesland. 150 years ago, Leeuwarden expanded to the south and a station was built on the city's old defenses. Around this station area, a small business district was formed last century, with the Achmea Tower as a literal highlight. Some people from Leeuwarden, also known as Liwwadders, consider this tower a disgrace to the city; others consider it part of the city's DNA. However, the photo encompasses much more and shows the beauty of Leeuwarden well. Look closely, and you can see De Centrale, the Friesland Campina factory, the marshalling yards or the beautiful street pattern! For every purebred Liwwadder this is a photo that should really hang in your house. What are you waiting for? Order quickly, and soon it will be hanging on your wall!
