About ‘Starling on the cobbles along the wadden sea’ by Eric Wander
Starlings nest in natural holes in trees, in nesting boxes but also in buildings. They probe the soil of meadows and fields of grass in search of insect larvae, such as the crane fly (leatherjackets).

Most of my nature pictures I shot in the immediate vicinity of Ede.
They are the result of many, many hours of enjoying nature, often face to face with the wildlife, big and small, where the camera is always my big friend.
Since 2005 I picked up my hobby again with the digital SLR camera and since 2007 I shoot with a full frame camera. Because of the many hours I spend photographing in the wild, I get to know the game and my camera better and better.
