About the artwork

Stadium Feijenoord, popularly known as De Kuip, is a football stadium in Rotterdam-Zuid (IJsselmonde). It is a stadium with football history where the professional football organisation Feijenoord play their home matches. Feijenoord chairman Leen van Zandvliet, after whom the adjacent square is named, was the driving force behind the construction of the stadium. The stadium was designed by the architect Leendert van der Vlugt, from the Brinkman and Van der Vlugt architectural firms. Construction began in 1935; the opening was on 27 March 1937. Van der Vlugt died in 1936 and therefore did not attend the opening.

The name of the stadium is spelled in different ways. The owner of the stadium is as 'stadion van Feijenoord N.V.'. (with ij) registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce. This way of spelling is also used on the website of the stadium. On the other hand, a y is used in the Rotterdam City Archives, on stationery and above the entrance on the Olympia side: Stadium Feijenoord.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
