About the artwork

The St. Bavo Church in Haarlem, seen here from the marketplace near the town hall. The photo was taken during the corona lockdown in January 2022. The stores and restaurants are closed. The oh so busy and bustling square is empty and deserted. The photo is converted to shades of brown to emphasize the emptiness in the city, all liveliness is missing. This photo with shades of brown fits very well in an interior with natural tones but also fits beautifully in a sleek interior and provides a calming effect. The photo was taken from a tripod. Longer shutter speeds were used to blur passersby. From my vantage point, you look across the entire square and up against the giant St. Bavo Church. This emphasizes how tall the church is and how small you are. You are standing in the heart of Haarlem, the beautiful capital of North Holland.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
