The squirrel usually goes out early in the morning and in the late afternoon to look for food. So I too was up early. The squirrel has funny pointy ears and big beady eyes and they are super fast, which makes photographing an extra challenge. This one heard something and was alertly looking around.
The morning light was shining low through the trees, which makes the squirrel's beautiful reddish-brown fur stand out even more.
And because of the quiet background, the squirrel is shown off to its best advantage.
It is for me such an atmospheric image and fits in any interior or garden.
