About ‘Spring pick’ by Ingrid De Laat- de Bont

The sun is coming through more and more again. Everything is starting to turn green again. The first flowers show their splendour. It is spring! This work radiates pure happy springtime. This makes you happy. At least I do as I pick the tulips, daffodils, star hyacinth, Judas pennywort, Lilac and broken hearts. As I am arranging the piece, a bigger and bigger smile comes onto my face. It is one big explosion of colour. And actually, you should be able to smell it.... I make this floral arrangement in a hand-turned ceramic pot made by my mother. This is how our hobbies's come together nicely. As I make the image, different little insects are always sitting nearby. On the daffodil at the top right, you can see another one sitting. The light falls very delicately over it for a nice shadow of the tulip on the pot. I hope you will be as happy with the flower arrangements as I am.

Ingrid De Laat- de Bont

Netherlands

In my photos, I combine my passions of flowers and photography. I am a florist and have a picking garden with my parents and sister where we grow our own flowers. So my images are created entirely by my own input. We have mostly grown the flowers ourselves. The flower arrangements are made by me in a hand-turned vase made by my mother Marianne. Out of season, I also use other beautiful materials, because there is so much beauty out there.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
