After touring the dahlia fields of our picking garden, I made this lovely colourful autumn arrangement in a hand-turned vase made by my mother Marianne. A lovely sun was falling through the trees at the spot where I take my flower photos's. That is how you get that fine light on the arrangement. You can feel the autumn sunshine…

Ingrid De Laat- de Bont

Netherlands

In my photos, I combine my passions of flowers and photography. I am a florist and have a picking garden with my parents and sister where we grow our own flowers. So my images are created entirely by my own input. We have mostly grown the flowers ourselves. The flower arrangements are made by me in a hand-turned vase made by my mother Marianne. Out of season, I also use other beautiful materials, because there is so much beauty out there.
