Explore the fascinating world of golf through the artist's eyes with this impressive black-and-white illustration of a golfer about to tee off the ball during the swing. The swing is the stroke a golfer makes to strike the golf ball.
The swing has a number of steps. The step pictured here is the downswing.
This illustration is part of a special collection of sports illustrations, which enjoyed great popularity in the late 1990s. Many of these artworks were on sale as posters at the well-known V&D department stores at the time. All images from the series are now scanned and photographed in high resolution and available as prints on various materials at Werk aan de muur.
