For work, I got to go to Toronto, a city I love to visit. Usually I photograph outside on the streets here but this time something else was on my menu. As always, I had picked some locations in advance including this staircase in a museum.
Spiral stairs, a favourite object to photograph for photographers. I am no exception. This staircase made my heart beat faster. A fantastic piece of architecture in a modern look. The pastel shades complete it. Of course, I had my 12mm wide-angle lens with me to grab as complete an image as possible.
First of all, I walk down the stairs from bottom to top to look for the "perfect" composition. Once found, it's a matter of waiting for the right moment so that no people move into the image. Patience is a virtue here.
Once done, I could turn my attention to all the other beauty in the museum.
As always, I edit my photos taken on the road at home at my desk. There I have access to a fast computer, a large screen, a Wacom drawing tablet and several software packages, to make the photo suitable for your wall.
