Special and wonderful to have seen: one of two flyable WB-57 JSC at Ellington Airport just before take-off for a new flight.
At Ellington Airport there are still three WB-57 JSC research aircraft. Two are still flyable, the third aircraft is not flyable anymore and is used for parts for the other two aircraft.

Air Weather Service upgraded WB-57D's. Currently designated as WB-57 - JSC. Three aircraft (registration numbers N926NA, N927NA and N928NA) were operated by NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, Texas for space and earth science research. So currently there are still two flyable aircraft.
