A morning photo of Haarlem. The city is slowly waking up. There was little wind and that made for beautiful reflections in the Spaarne. The Spaarne is a river that runs through Haarlem to Spaarndam. The name is probably derived from "Spier," which means reeds. In the photo, the tower of the Great or St. Bavo Church and the drawbridge are the Gravesteen Bridge.
