About "Soothing Kat|in the Garden | A Visual Poem"

About the artwork

When I still worked near the Amstel station in Amsterdam, I used to take a walk through the area every morning. During these walks, I often came across cats, and not infrequently they came to meet and give me a head. Of course, there were also those typical scaredy-cats that would run off immediately if you looked at them at all. I started to make a habit of taking a photo of every cat I came across. This is where this work was inspired.

For the colour tone, I deliberately chose soft pastel blue tones. It gives that little bit extra, a bit more tenderness and sweetness. Beautiful light blue with soft bokeh in the background. The soft pastel tones make the cat the centre of attention, while the light background gives a sense of openness and space.

This artwork is a great addition to any interior, especially in the bedroom. The light, calming colours and sweet look of the cat create a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. It is a wonderful way to add a touch of tenderness and beauty to your home. Hang it up and let it remind you every day of the warm, comforting moments cats can bring.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
