The straight lines in this foggy pine forest made it look still and calm, but it became more interesting when I spotted a diagonally growing tree which adds new dynamics to this forest of verticals. Fog in pine forests often turns blueish in colour, especially in winter, which makes it look mystical and unreal at times. I love this magical side of reality most of all, when things that are real look unworldly, reminding us that the extraordinary is always hiding in plain sight.
