This work by Peet incorporates several close-ups of seeds of the dandelion, also known as fluff. The seeds are gossamer and seem to spread through the air, giving a sense of lightness and floating.
The composition is constructed in colours that create a flooding transition from cool blues and greens on the left to warm tones of pink and orange on the right.
These colours give the work a dreamy and ethereal feel. The delicate lines of the seeds and the soft bokeh in the background enhanced the softness of the image.
