Soft Deep Aqua Mineral 976 — Mineral Blue in Soft Swing Serenity

by Saskia Mensink PRINTS

This Wall Art is built on quiet depth, a slow, cooling gradient where deep navy, mineral blue and soft grey drift into one another like water settling after movement. The Soft Swing background (from the Blue Motion palette) adds openness and calm, creating the feeling of a horizon breathing in and out, where sky, water and shadow blend into a serene, modern stillness.

While painting, the pigment was given full freedom to flow. No hard edges, no fixed direction, only water, time and gravity shaping the organic transitions. This approach reveals subtle textures and mineral layers, giving the artwork a tactile calmness and a sense of inner depth.

This print fits seamlessly within the Blue Motion 2026 colorfamily, defined by gentle movement and visual breathing space:
Mellow Flow (soft airy blue),
Slow Swing (deep night blue),
Free Groove (classic royal blue)
and Light Move (clouded grey-blue).
Together they create clarity, balance and a quiet emotional reset.

This quiet luxury print pairs beautifully with natural materials such as wood, linen, stone and ceramics and complements palettes with ton-sur-ton blues, ivory, deep teal and muted browns.

It fits effortlessly into Minimalist Modern, Japandi, New Nordic, Wabi Sabi, Boutique Hotel Chic and Coastal Contemporary spaces.
A piece for those who seek calm, depth, mental clarity and the grounding presence of nature-inspired blues.

A work that doesn’t speak loudly,
but settles gently into the room,
bringing stillness, focus and quiet expansion.
