Soestduinen is a town in the municipality of Soest in the Dutch province of Utrecht. Soestduinen is located between the two parts of sand drift the Soester Duinen: the "Lange Duinen" and the "Korte Duinen".
Soestduinen's built-up area consists mainly of villas's. Soestduinen station - on the railway line between Utrecht and Amersfoort - was closed in 1998. Along the railway line were a small industrial estate of the Kodak company and the Jessurunkamp, a military depot. Both sites were renatured in 2008-2009.[1]
Soestduinen is currently one of the richest parts of the Netherlands; it ranks 34th in the list of the richest districts in the Netherlands.
