About the artwork

This extraordinary image was taken at Soča Gorge in Slovenia, one of the most impressive natural areas in the Julian Alps. From a bird's eye view, you can see how the river winds its way through ancient rock formations. The crystal-clear turquoise water contrasts powerfully with the rugged, grey rocks and warm autumn tones of the forest. The composition highlights the narrow gorge into which the river flows, as if discovering a secret path in the earth itself.

The Soča, also known as the Emerald River, is known worldwide for its unique colour and purity. In the gorge, the river is only a few metres wide in places, causing the water to forcefully squeeze through the rocks. This provides not only spectacular views, but also a sense of primal power and serenity at the same time.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
