Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

How this line of sneakers in the smedestraat came into being is unclear. The collection of shoes on the line is also growing. Visitors to the Grote or St. Bavokerk in Haarlem are greeted with this playful action. On the day I took this picture it was quite foggy, which gives the picture some extra roughness.
