The Sleipnir is a semi-submersible crane vessel of Heerema Marine Contractors that was built in 2019 by Sembcorp in Singapore. The name is derived from the eight-legged horse Sleipnir from Nordic mythology. GVA's design consists of two parallel pontoons with four columns each containing the working deck.
The Sleipnir has two cranes from Huisman Equipment, each with a capacity of 10,000 tonnes and a total capacity of 18,000 tonnes, making it the largest crane ship in the world.
