About "Skyline"

About the artwork

This "skyline" is not a city built of concrete and steel, but one that exists in the depths of the mind. The shining, towering buildings are not physical structures, but the hopes, dreams and ambitions we carry within us. Each building is a symbol of a different aspect of human endeavour - from the slender, golden spire that reaches for the stars, to the broader, grounded structures that represent our foundations and values. It is a city of thought, where the glowing, floating spheres represent the ideas that circle above our heads, ready to be realised or simply serve as inspiration. What you don't see in this picture is the pulsating life within these mental structures. Each tower harbours an infinite number of stories, of personal victories and defeats, of loneliness and connection. The seemingly sharp edges of the buildings hide the complex inner worlds that exist within them. The city is a reflection of its own inner landscape - sometimes ordered and symmetrical, sometimes chaotic and unpredictable. It is an invitation to look into this imaginary city and recognise the hiddenness of our own complexity, which rises like a skyline above our own horizon.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
