About ‘Skyline of Utrecht with red and white lit Dom tower.’ by Margreet van Beusichem
The Cathedral Tower lit in red and white, the same colours applied during the first major restoration of the Cathedral in 1519-1525, during the late Middle Ages. Red and white referred to the colours of Saint Martin, the patron saint of the Cathedral and city. The photo was taken on 8 March 2014 at 20:14.
