About the artwork

Skyline of Deventer on the IJssel, evening photography.
With a view of the historic buildings along the IJssel and the Lebuinus church tower.
The Grote or Lebuinuskerk is a gothic church at the Grote Kerkhof in Deventer. In the Middle Ages it was the main church of the city and one of the most important churches within the diocese of Utrecht. You can safely call it a cathedral.
During an evening walk I took the ferry to the other side of the IJssel, from where you have a nice view of the skyline.
The city of Deventer is located in the province of Overijssel. It is a Hanseatic city.
The city has a rich history and there are still many interesting, historic buildings and elements to be found. Deventer also has many historic attractions such as the Proosdij, the oldest stone house in the Netherlands (twelfth century!). Everywhere around you you will see monumental buildings with special gable stones, historic churches and ancient squares. A city walk is very worthwhile!
The tower of the Lebuinus is visible for miles around and is rightly a figurehead of the city.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
