The Skógafoss, near the village of Skógar, is a waterfall 60 m high and 25 m wide.
Due to Iceland's rise after the last ice age, the coastline has retreated. As a result, cliffs have remained here from which the Skógafoss now flows.
According to an old legend, a chest of gold must have been hidden here.
Landscape photographer and drone pilot Koen Henderickx will gladly take you on a discovery of the most beautiful places, both close by or a little further away.
His mission is to introduce people to the beauty of nature, from water, the land or in the sky via drones.
