"Simplicity: A Bull Thistle comes to bloom" is a macro photo of a simple Bull Thistle (Echinops) that has already partly bloomed. The lower (at the front) part is still in bud. This gives a playful effect to the flower.
In the background of this photo you can see an almost uniform soft old pink colour (or greyish pink towards salmon). This background colour makes the Bulrush, which has a blue/purple/lilac colour, stand out nicely from the background.
Because I chose a moderate depth of field when taking this photo, the front of the bird thistle is razor-sharp, and the further back you go, the blurrier it gets, this happens very gradually. As a result, the background has become almost uniform in colour.
This work could hang beautifully as wall decoration (on Artframe or aluminium, for example) in the bedroom, dining room or simply above the sofa! Also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office, waiting room or practice room!
