I took this photo during a city trip to Rome, surely one of Europe's most extraordinary ancient cities. So much history, beautiful weather and, of course, delicious Italian food. This image shows the famous Piazza del Popolo, depicted here in black and white which does justice to the walking people and the shadows. The long shadows of passers-by and a lone cyclist stand out sharply against the sunlit cobblestones, creating a timeless and almost graphic scene. The cyclist in the middle especially really stands out! This is one of my favourite photos from this trip. This print is timeless and totally suitable for anyone who loves Rome or street photography.
