A city slowly being swallowed up by the desert. Or conversely, a desert that reveals a silhouette of a cowboy, made up of red bricks, industrial fire escapes and memories of a vanishing world. Silhouette of a City Cowboy is a surreal artwork that plays with the boundaries between city and nature, between reality and imagination.
The central element is an iconic cowboy shape - not a drawn figure, but a carved cityscape, where windows and fire escapes form the outline of a mysterious city cowboy. The background shows a layered desert landscape in warm shades of rust, ochre, sand and red, combined with abstract blocks that reinforce the atmosphere of alienation, desolation and timelessness.
This mixed media composition combines photography, digital editing, textures and paint-like layers into a powerful whole. The subtle imperfections in colour and texture give the work a painterly character, while the sharp lines of the building provide a graphic contrast. The image evokes associations with themes of identity, impermanence, the Wild West and urban emptiness.
With its striking colour palette - dominated by red, orange, rust and sand - this work is a real eye-catcher for modern interiors, especially for lovers of urban art, architecture, desert landscapes and surrealist art. This work will look great in lofts, industrial spaces and creative workplaces.
