About ‘Silhouette and shadow of trees in snow’ by Adelheid Smitt
Snow and winter fascinate me and I love looking for subjects to capture beautifully in this white world. Here we see a row of trees standing at the edge of a lake, but the snow makes it look like a continuous blanket of white.

Meet the artist
Adelheid Smitt
Deventer, Netherlands
I got my first camera on my 8th birthday. Now, many cameras later, I have ended up with a 'full-frame' mirrorless camera and my passion for photography has become an important part of my life.
I travel a lot, all over the world, and like to photograph landscapes as well as cities in the blue hour. I hope that my images can inspire you and I would love it if my love for photography can finally make it to your wall.
