After a great workshop, I was able to make this image at the IJsselmeer in Friesland. There were no clouds to be seen, which I found unfortunate at first. But this did create this serene image with beautiful pink-purple tones.
Normally I shoot my images horizontally. It took some getting used to for me that the composition didn't work that way. So this is one of the few vertical images I have, but I am very happy with it myself.
I also used filters for this photo, which I don't usually do. This was a good way to still the water and keep the sky soft. I am definitely thinking of using filters more often instead of multiple exposures.
