About ‘Silence of Zeeland’ by Carin Captures

I had found this place on the internet and wanted to go here for photos's. It was a very bizarre place, all the crabs and jellyfish seemed to wash up here. It was very quiet and balmy, so I was hoping for a beautiful sunset.

I love clouds, but this day it was hazy. Fortunately, I still got quite a bit of colour at sunset. The water was calm so this gave nice reflections.

I have become quite a fan of Zeeland by now. It has many beautiful water landscapes. Of course, the Netherlands is really a water country, and I find myself more and more often at the edge of the shore or on the coast. When I see that reflected in my photography, it also calms me down.

Many of my works have purple tones, so this photo is a bit of an exception. Still, I was very pleasantly surprised with the shot when I went through my photos's. It was one of the last days of summer and you can almost feel the balmy warm evening again when you look at the photo.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
