The Siegessäule is a monument in Berlin, designed by Heinrich Strack. The column of honor is located in the Großer Tiergarten on the Großer Stern, a large traffic intersection in the middle of the park. The occasion for the construction was Prussia's victory over the Danes in the War of 1864.
