Dancing on top of the world. This Siberian ground squirrel, also known as a chipmunk or Burkina Faso, has characteristic longitudinal stripes across its body. They are found in North Asia. This one was photographed in the hiking forest in Tilburg. The squirrels probably escaped during the animal park's move and have been living happily and freely there in the woods ever since. The little animals live to be about 6-10 years old.
