Stroll through Shinjuku after dark past façade advertisements and strip clubs
From my Lonely Planet guidebook, I discovered a walk in the dark through Shinjuku. This is Tokyo's red light district and you'll also find countless neon façade advertising signs here. Spot a huge Godzilla on the roof of the cinema. During the walk, we see plenty of scantily clad men and women and there are plenty of bars and clubs where you can party late into the night. We skip that!
You can also take the lift 202 metres up through the Metropolitan Government Building here and enjoy panoramic views of the city.
