This work was made on 26-11-25 in Bergen op Zoom, Zoomland estate.
I had left early on my little bike with the necessary photography gear and a thermos mug of hot coffee.
Once I arrived in the forest, the light was a bit diffuse at first due to the clouds.
Soon the first rays of sunlight showed through the thinning foliage. The forest was still damp and wet which only enhanced the rays and colours.
This beautiful warm picture made me not need coffee at all I realised.
Standing still at the composition I had created, I felt at one with the forest and was momentarily disconnected from everyday concerns.
