'Shelter in the blizzard' is more than just a painting; it is a story that takes you to the Russian tundra, where the legend of Varenka comes to life. Varenka, an old woman who refused to flee the war, offered shelter to anyone who sought her help. Her cottage became a haven for those in need of food, warmth and protection. As the war drew ever closer, Varenka and her guests prayed to God for protection. And then, like a miracle, God made the snow fall, rendering the cottage invisible to outside threats.
This abstract painting symbolises that safe haven, a place where you can take shelter and be yourself. The soft greens, blues and whites create a serene atmosphere that radiates calm and peace.
Does the 'Shelter in the blizzard' painting also bring a sense of calm and security to your home? Let yourself be embraced by the beauty and meaning of this artwork and make it a part of your life.
