"The Thinker his Shadow
This photograph captures a silhouette projected onto an old stone wall gilded by the light of a winter morning. The shape is reminiscent of a man leaning over, in a meditative attitude. The shadows of the balustrade complete the scene with rhythm and structure.
The image evokes a silent, almost philosophical atmosphere. It speaks of reflection, ephemeral presence and the discreet beauty of the moment. It's a tribute to those moments of inner calm, when we take the time to think and feel.
Created during a period of introspection, this work is for me a reminder of the importance of silence and light in our daily lives.
Born in Chazelles sur Lyon (France) in 1949, living and working in the Netherlands since 1970.
