About "Shadow of a Thought"

About the artwork

A soft silence seems to lay itself across the canvas, like a breath that is not audible but palpable. The painting breathes warmth - not the bright heat of life, but the embracing glow of serenity. The world here is composed of shades of brown: deep amber, greying sepia and soft sand, colours reminiscent of earth, wood and old memories slowly fading in the light of morning.

The face, with eyes closed, does not seem to be sleeping but resting in complete surrender. The shadows kiss the contours of the skin, while the brushstrokes flow into each other, as if each stroke is a sigh, a movement between letting go and staying. The brown tones give the composition a tangible warmth, a human closeness - as if silence itself has become skin.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
