About the artwork

Face of Buddha with long ears, Gal Vihara, Sri Lanka. Buddha with eyes closed. One of the most beautiful monuments of Sri Lanka. This image is also incorporated in one of my other works as a triptych (see album Buddha or panorama).
Unknown artists have carved four Buddha statues into a granite wall. The famous rock temple with four huge statues from the mid-12th century carved out of the granite rock. Inscriptions have been made in the rock face. Originally, the rock temple was part of a monastery complex from the time of Parakrama Bahu i, the Uttarama (northern monastery). Facing the temple you will see the sitting Buddha in meditation on the left and behind him a kind of halo of sculpture. Then, on the right, a simple colonnade gives access to the statue house in the rock, with statues of Buddha and some Hindu gods. In front of the colonnade a bo-boom has been planted.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
