About "Seeing through the illusion"

About the artwork

For this work, I used a photograph of the setting sun as the original. The sun shone on the clouds giving the clouds a golden glow. The branches of the trees could be seen in the foreground. One half of the sky was filled with the golden yellow clouds and the other half was still bright blue.

Fantastically beautiful, those colors and that contrast!

I mirrored the photo and made a negative which gave an icy effect. The lines were created from the branches of the trees. You can see as it were 2 photo images superimposed.

To my surprise, I saw an eye appear in the line pattern (at the top in the middle).

This eye is bright blue and to me represents "clear seeing". The eye is wide open, looking through the 2 "images" (the 2 superimposed photos). Not hindered by the icy, the frozen and stationary state. Nor distracted by the jumble and chaos of the branches.....

When you look closely, you see that everything is different than you thought. A realization that often occurs when you make a "leap" in consciousness. This is made visual in this light photo artwork

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
