A series of seasonal vegetables from the open ground. To make the roots clearly visible, we chose to photograph the vegetables floating, all in the same painterly style. Individually, they are works of art, but as a series on the wall, they enhance each other.

Mariska Vereijken is a self-taught photographer. Since she has her own studio at home, there is more space and freedom to turn concepts into images. Besides (fineart) portrait work that you can find on her instagram account, she makes a diversity of photographic works that often come about conceptually. Mostly works that exude tranquillity but also with a creative slant or that contain a joke.
