This picture was taken just after noon, the time when the flood cycle would take place for ebb of the beach of Zoutelande, Zeeland (NL). Now a close-up of the breakwater with the white seagulls sitting on it, the water was still quite high here so the beach was not passable and I stood in the sea just below my knees to make this shot. Because the breakwater runs through the entire image, a beautiful line play has also been created here. In the background on the horizon the cumulus clouds are still visible. Again a black / white conversion which again yielded a nice relaxing and contrasting plate, Zeeland at its best, even in black and white!
